Born to eternal life June 23, 2008, age 81 years. Joined his beloved wife Lillian nee Murray of 54 years. Dear dad of Sandra Ben Wilant, Donna Chmielewski, Linda Gary Larsen, Michael Julie, Deanna Carl Munkwitz and Janell Scott Somers. Loving grandpa of Steven, Daniel, Matthew, Christopher, Jacqueline, Anna, Severin, Chad, Sarah, Leah, Ryan, Tyler, Kayla and Caitlin. Great grandpa of Kymberly and Josephine. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation Thursday, June 26 from 4-7PM at HALES CORNERS LUTHERAN CHURCH, GRANGE CAMPUS, 5425 S. 111th St., followed by the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Private interment Highland Memorial Park.
George was an Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW Post 8171. He worked at Hotpoint for over 42 years, was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and a part time employee of A & P Grocery for 23 years. A member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church since 1956 and an active usher for over 40 years. Was a member of the Hales Corners Sanctuary Choir and the Hi Timers Seniors. He loved dancing of all kinds and belonged to Square Dance clubs for over 40 years.
