Passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Mel Konek. She is preceded in death also by her son John Konek and her grandson Joshua Brielmaier. Geraldine is survived by her daughters Leslie (John) Schlax and Stephanie (Steve) Brielmaier and her son Brad Konek. Dear grandchildren Jason Konek (Monica), Melissa (Jordan) Wescott, Tracy Schlax, Adam (Lizzy) Schlax, Sara, Cassi and Corrie Brielmaier, Megan (Tyler) Passineau, Nathan Konek. Great-grandchildren Addilyn and Lily Wescott, Caden and Wyatt Schlax.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 2:00-5:00PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME 6615 W. Oklahoma Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 11:00AM at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH. (Please meet at church). Interment to follow at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.

She was a wonderful Aunt. I have nothing but good memories of her. I’m glad she found peace.

Our family has known Geri since 1974 when we moved into our first house and started our family. She and Mel were wonderful neighbors. Now she’s up in heaven with Joyce and Roger. She will be missed.
