nee Gow A golfer, bowler, mother, and friend, died June 10, 2010. Gone before Gerry were her husband Arno John and sister Dorothy Gross. Ger was a woman who made beautiful things with her hands. For her wonderful daughters Cindy Bartz and Beth Bartz, she sewed dresses and all sorts of clothing, even countless outfits for their Barbies. For her son Michael Omar Bartz Mary Beth Gallagher, she created prize-winning Halloween costumes year after year, and knitted beautiful, comfy sweaters. For her grandchildren Peter and Monica, she also knitted sweaters, mittens, and scarves to keep out winter cold. For many a bride, she helped make the dress of her dreams. She loved State Fair cream puffs, her Club, her faith, and her family. Join friends and family in a memorial service, Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. visitation at 10 at St. Therese Church, 9525 W. Blue Mound Rd. Donations, instead of flowers, can be sent to Casa Maria Women’s Shelter at 1131 N. 21st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
