Yunker, Gertrude A.

(nee Schultz) Passed away in her sleep on March 7th, 2016, age 92. Gertrude is survived by John, her loving and devoted husband of 68 years, sons Mark (Patricia), Ken (Sue Mackowski), and John (Sandy); grandchildren Steven, Michael, Frank (Lizz Stringfield), Peter (Erin), Johanna (Emiliano Ricciardi), Bob (Lia Heuring), and Anne (John) Fieberg; and great-grandchildren Carrie, Ray, and Zoe Fieberg. Gertrude was preceded in death by her 3 brothers Erv, Herman, and Roy, and is survived by her sisters Lenora and Vera. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place at the FUNERAL HOME on Friday, March 11th, from 10-11:30AM, with the funeral service to follow at 11:30AM. Interment Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Gertrude was a graduate of Bay View High School, and an employee of Louis Allis Company until the birth of her first child, when she focused on her family, a job which she could not have done better. Gertrude was longtime member at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Allis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gertrude’s name to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Allis.
