Loving grandmother of Steven Cindy Hanson, Suzanne Jon O?Connor, Thomas Julia Hanson, Craig Nicole Hanley, Cathleen Hanley, Jennifer Brian Schweitzer, and Erin Tom Brefeld. Great-grandmother of 12. Twin sister of Elsie Doerr. Sister in law of Walter Gladys Brown. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service Saturday, 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat. at the Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until the time of service 10:30 AM. Gertie was a retired church secretary of Layton Park Lutheran Church where she worked for 25 years. If so desired, memorials to St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church, West Allis, or to the Geriatric Ministry Internship Program at the Village at Manor Park greatly appreciated.
