Feb. 6, 2010 age 80 yrs. Beloved husband for 58 years of Shirley. Dear father of Debbie James Hillard, Bonnie Dan Ackmann, Kathy Zahn Craig Pulley, James Cheryl Pacala, Patti Pat Brown, and Mike Janet Pacala. Gramps to 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Brother of Terry Steve Smith. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation Sat. Feb. 13, 11-2pm with Memorial Services at 2pm at the funeral home. Gil was a proud Veteran of the Korean War and a 37 year employee of Otis Elevator.
