Born in Milwaukee on March 13, 1919, and entered Eternal Life on Monday, June 24, 2013, at the age of 94. Formerly of Franklin, WI. Loving husband for 65 years of the late Audrey (nee: Buck). Beloved father of Richard and Carol (Gregory) Burns. Grandfather of Jeffrey (Lauren) Burns, of Madison, WI, Jonathan (Leah) Burns, of McFarland, WI, Aurora (Joshua) Gore, of IL, and Amanda Bristow, of Seattle, WA. Great-grandfather of Alexander, Gabriella, Sophia and Olivia Burns. Also survived by siblings Virginia Eickhoff, Eugene and Donald Bristow, sister-in-law Patricia Bristow, nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday, June 28, at ST. PAUL’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6881 S. 51st St., Franklin, WI. From 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM, Rev. Brian Adams officiating. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Retiree of Nordberg Mfg. Co. and member of the Nordberg Luncheon Group, and a WWII Coast Guard veteran.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
