Passed away Peacefully Tuesday January 29, 2019 at age 73. Beloved husband of Irina. Loving father of Alessandro (daughter-in-law Shawna), Antonella (Danny) Lorenz. Dear Grandfather of Giovanni Scordato. Brother of Appolonia (Joe) Cappelli, Nina Tripoli, Cosimo Scordato, AnnaMaria Scordato. Godfather of MariaGrazia Greco. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday February 3rd from 4-7PM at the FUNERAL HOME. Vigil service at 7PM. Mass of Catholic Burial will be held Monday February 4 at 11AM at OUR LADY OF LOURDES meet at church (3722 S. 58th St.). Burial to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
Giovanni’s greatest love outside of family was putting a smile on people’s faces when enjoying his cookies. His love of joke telling and poems will be missed by all.
