nee Schmidt Thursday, March 13, 2008, age 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Russell H. Leitch. Treasured mother of Beth Dennis Dowhen, Lauren James Gilles, Kerry Gudlin and Colin Pat Leitch. Grandmother of Kristin, Travis and Jeffrey Dowhen, Lesleigh Fiance Tony Memmel and Whitney Gilles, Kimberly Fiance Andrew Lynch Gudlin, Christopher and Devon Leitch, Melissa Pegram and Tiffanie Armstrong. Great grandmother of Keaton Armstrong. Sister of Margaret the late Robert Perthel and the late Edward the late Ruby Schmidt. Aunt of the late Maren Rahkonen, Mark Perthel and Janet Jack Knapp.
Funeral Service Sunday, March 16 at 3:30 PM at ST. JOHN’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7809 W. Harwood Ave., Wauwatosa. Private entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park. Visitation Sunday at the church from 2:00 PM until the time of service 3:30 PM.
A devout Lutheran, blessed with musical gifts, “Miss Schmidt” taught at several Lutheran schools. Sincere thanks for the tender care provided by Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, The Lutheran Home, Comfort Keepers, Rent-A-Daughter, Home Instead and to St. John’s Prayer Circle.
