Passed peacefully into heaven on Wednesday, May 2nd at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Barbara nee Schultz. Dear father of Sheryl son-in-law Terry Patzke. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Joanne Hintz and Beverly Timm Rockwood, MI, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Emma Meyer of Union, Illinois, and brother Wayne.
Glenn was a graduate of Valparaiso University. After serving in the US Army he was employed by GM Delco Electronics and later S.C. Johnson & Son, Racine, from which he retired.
He was a long time faithful member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Greendale, where he served as Elder, Treasurer and Sunday School Teacher.
Glenn enjoyed world wide travel for business and pleasure, bird watching, gardening, studying the stock market and relaxing at Lake Petenwell.
Memorials to the Meyer Family Scholarship for Women Engineers at Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, IN, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission or The Word Today Radio Ministry greatly appreciated.
Visitation at OUR SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5901 Westway, Greendale, WI on Monday, May 7 from 9-11 AM with Service to follow at 11 AM. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery, Greenfield, WI.
