Gloria Ida Schumacher

Gloria Ida Schumacher (nee Gentz) was welcomed home to heaven by her Savior Jesus Christ on August 3, 2023, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Rae Schumacher. Loving mother of Peter (Debra) Schumacher, Paula (Stuart) Zak, and Ann (Dennis) Wieselmann. Loving grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 20. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Marlene Gentz, and by other relatives, and dear friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Rae; her parents, Rev. Arthur and Ida Gentz, and her brother, Grant Gentz.

Gloria dedicated her life to serving her Lord and encouraging her family in their walk with Christ.

Visitation will be held at CHRIST ALONE LUTHERAN CHURCH (247 S Main St, Thiensville, WI) on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 3 pm – 4 pm with the funeral service to follow.

Memorials may be directed to Christ Alone Lutheran Church or Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.
