Gloria Ruth Thibodeau

Gloria Thibodeau (1925 – 2015)

Passed Away September 13, 2015. Dear mother of Todd Thibodeau, Ann Thibodeau and Leonard Joblove. Loving grandmother of Gregory and Timothy Joblove.

Gloria, a registered nurse, worked in several Milwaukee-area hospitals. After receiving a Master’s Degree from UWM, she held positions as a nursing instructor at both the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Area Technical College. Given her love of the arts, Gloria also became a docent at the Milwaukee Art Museum. A longtime resident of St. John’s On the Lake, she served on the ethics committee and the resident council and enjoyed working on programs in the Uihlein Peters Gallery.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM on Sunday November 29, 2015 in the Chapel of St. John the Evangelist at St. John’s on the Lake. A reception will follow the memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Milwaukee Art Museum – Education Fund, 700 N. Art Museum Dr. Milwaukee, WI 35202.
