Age 86, of Milwaukee, WI, died peacefully Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012. Born on Oct. 17, 1926 in Bay View to Alfred J. Goede and Esther nee Dahlke. Beloved husband of 62 years of Mary Anne nee Kant. Loving father of Clifford Karen Goede of Westborough, MA; Carolyn Bill Yanke of Marshfield, WI; and Gerald Pat Goede of Bozeman, MT. Proud grandfather of Jeri Lynn and Ted, Becky and Kevin, Kristin fiance’ Chris, Eric and Sarah, Brad, Peter, Adam and Brittney, Bryan, Will and Leah. Great-grandfather of Danny and Cole. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Gordon worked in the Paper box industry his whole life. He loved to travel, being in all 50 states and enjoyed camping. He also enjoyed helping out at Martin Luther High School rummage sales. Gordon was a long time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, West Allis, WI.
Visitation on Friday, Nov. 30, at the Funeral Home from 9:30 – 11 AM followed by funeral service at 11 AM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Martin Luther High School appreciated.
