Age 61, found peace Dec. 2, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Loving husband of 26 years to Carol (nee Anderson) Winters, proud father of Bryan & Andrew. Also survived by brother Jeff (Lori, nee Istvanek), sisters Cheri (Craig) Dyke, Jan (John) Keprios, mother- in- law Eileen Hoefs (nee O’Leary), father-in-law Vernon Anderson, in-laws Kathleen Hatton, Henry &Susan Marshall; Mark & Patti Lehmann, Joseph & Linda McCarthy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Arnold J. & Veta L. (nee Scott) Winters. Born Jul 31, 1954, Watertown, SD. He graduated from Kenosha Bradford High School & the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee School of Architecture. He lived in Vernon, WI for 23 years and then moved to Greenfield, WI in 2012. Greg’s pride & joy were his two sons. He was a wonderful role model, coach, and mentor. He enjoyed sports, playing cards, had a great sense of humor, and was a member of the Vernon Presbyterian Church.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday Dec 12, 2015. Visitation from 10 AM-12PM with a Memorial Service at 12 PM at Vernon Presbyterian Church, S7 1 W23280 National Avenue, Big Bend, WI 53103. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to Vernon Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.
