Found peace after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, October 6, 2002 at age 53. Born March 4, 1949 to Laurel and Virginia nee Smith Grant in Elkhorn, WI, Monty was raised and attended school in East Troy. Upon graduating from East Troy High School, Monty attended college in Stevens Point and Whitewater before becoming a computer programmer and working for Pillsbury in Minnesota. Monty?s last residence was in Whitewater.

Monty is survived by his father Laurel the late Virginia Grant, his sister Karen George Morelli, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 11 from 4:00 ? 7:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home 2974 Main Street, East Troy. Memorial service at 7:00 pm officiated by Pastor Joan Goebel.
