Of Helenville, age 94 yrs.
Found peace Saturday June 2, 2001 at Fort Atkinson Health and Rehab.The youngest of five children Harold was born March 1, 1907 to parents John Lundt and Martha Nee Dobratz Lundt, in Helenville, WI. Harold spent his school years at the Pleasant Valley School. On Nov. 12, 1936 Harold married his bride the late Helen nee Aplin ‘1999’ in Rockford, IL. and preceded to be a lifetime resident and farm their own farm in Pleasant Valley. Harold farmed in partnership with his late brother Elmer, until his retirement in the 1970’s. Harold also raised and showed Livestock, and continued to enjoy poultry until past 90 yrs of age. Harold was one of the First 4-H Leaders in the State of Wisconsin, judged many state and local fairs and judged the Chicago international.
Harold is survived by 1 son: Richard Kris Lundt of Helenville, 2 grand daughters: Diane Lundt and LoriDuane Schaub. 4 Great Grand Children: Whitney, Kassy, Taylor and Tessa. Harold is also survived by 2 special friends Carrol Becker and Sandy Nelson, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and sisters, and 1 grandson Jon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 5, 2001 at 11:30 AM at PLEASANT VALLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, located at the corner of Hwy E. and Rome Oak Hill Road in Pleasant Valley. Visitation will be at church from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Internment Pleasant Valley Cemetery to follow. Pastor Larry Turner officiating.
