Harriet L. Nerby

NERBY, Harriet LaVon, 89, formerly of Black River Falls, WI, was called home to Heaven and reunited with her beloved husband Harlan on May 19, 2020.

Born in Northfield Township, WI, she was the daughter of the late Mamie (Johnson) and Albert Hanson. Harriet was a long time employee of Sears and retired from Prime Manufacturing.  She was an avid bowler who regularly made the paper with her high scores. She also enjoyed playing cribbage and doing crossword puzzles. She loved to laugh, had a wonderful sense of humor and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children: Keith Nerby, Laurie (Carl) Danes, Kevin (Bonnie) Nerby, daughter-in-law Pam Nerby; eight grandchildren: Kristin (Jered) Yusten, Heather (Joe) Allison, Lauren Nerby, Michael (Genavieve) Danes, Christopher (Becky) Danes, Mark (Aly) Danes, Kalli (Brian) Nordrum, Bryan (Jess) Nerby; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister Donna Jennings, sisters-in-law: Elvina Dambach and Verna (Don) Stine; special family friend: Larry Willoughby.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Harlan; sisters: Eleanor Kleven, Jean Brovold and Nila Hanson.
