Harvey Emil Luckmann battled dementia for the last 10 years, and went home to his savior on December 15, 2022 at the age of 87. He was the husband to the late, Nancy (nee Keller). Father of Steven J. Luckmann. Brother of Wayne, the late Gerald, and the late Robert. Harvey is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Harvey was an athlete in high school where he played football, baseball and basketball. After high school he continued playing basketball for Harnischfeger where he built a career in production control for 41 years.  Harvey served his country as a sergeant in the National Guard and was stationed in Washington State.

Harvey loved music and played the drums for many years. His friend Al played the accordion alongside him at weddings and other events. Harvey and Nancy enjoyed traveling around the United States and around the world taking many cruises including an Alaskan cruise.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 3PM to 5PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (4800 S. 84^th St.) with a funeral service to follow at 5pm.
