Hazel Catherine Keller

Born to Eternal Life October 4, 2023, age 97 years.

Hazel was born on July 22, 1926, in Caledonia where she lived all her life. She attended William Horlick High School, graduating in 1944. Hazel went on to further her education at the University of Wisconsin Extension in Racine where she met her future husband Richard R. Keller.  Hazel and Richard married on April 17, 1948 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Caledonia.

She was an employee of Ladish Company in Cudahy from 1952 to 1985.  Hazel was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and Divine Mercy Catholic Church in South Milwaukee, serving as a lector at both churches.  She also was a member of DAV Auxiliary Belle City 9, Sturtevant Senior Card Club and the St. Louis 50 Plus Club.

Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard in 2001.  She is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, many acquaintances, and special friend Cindy.

The family would like to thank the staff of Villa St. Francis – especially to her wonderful caregivers Christina & Verdell – as well as the entire staff of St. Croix Hospice for their kind and loving care of Hazel.
