Age 96 of Milwaukee. Passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Mount Carmel Health and Rehabilitaiton Center. Mrs. Sander is survived by her sister, Irene, and brother-in-law Jack; her former daughter-in-law, Joan, and her husband, Mark; and her niece, Marcia. Mrs. Sander is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, and her two sons, Robert and Wayne. Helen was born on July 19, 1914 in Green Lake, Wisconsin. She was a childhood resident of Green Lake, moved briefly to Ripon, Wisconsin, and then settled in Milwaukee with her husband in 1944. Helen and her family first lived on Grant Street, and then on Cold Spring Road for 30 years. Helen was active in Grand Avenue Congregational Church in Milwaukee, and a loving mother, wife, and friend to many through the years. A private, graveside ceremony is planned.
