Heinen, Helen Marie (nee Treis)
Born on July 8th, 1933, and passed away peacefully into Eternal Life on February 6th, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Howard L. Heinen. Loving mother of Mark (Anne), Marie (Michael) Gray, Howard A., Joseph (Dawn), Elizabeth (the late Stephen) Burns, Arnold, and Andrew (Carrie). Proud grandma of 14, and great-grandma of 2. Preceded in death by parents Norman and Ruth (nee Mullen) Treis. Loving sister of Aileen Conlin and the late James (Maureen) Treis. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and their families.
Visitation will be held at the FUNERAL HOME on Monday, February 12th, from 9-10AM, followed by the funeral service at 10AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Helen was an outstanding pianist, loved music and was an avid bridge player. She was prayerful, deeply religious and devoted to the Catholic faith.
Memorials may be made to “The Sharing Closet,” A charity whose focus is lending medical equipment to those in need.
