Of Milwaukee, WI, formerly of Bronx, NY. Born to eternal life Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the age of 97.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife Margarita Betancourt (nee Matos). Cherished father of Herminio Betancourt Jr., Nancy Betancourt-Berrios, and Elizabeth Betancourt-Fernandez. Further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren , other relatives and friends.
Visitation Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 8:30 am until 9:00 am at the R.G. Ortiz Funeral Home 2121 Westchester Avenue, The Bronx, NY 10462. Funeral Mass 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 1900 Crotona Pkwy, The Bronx, NY 10460. Burial to follow at 11:40 am at St. Raymonds Cemetery 2600 Lafayette Avenue, The Bronx, NY 10465
Thank you Papi for hanging in there for me. I love you and I’ll miss you so very much but hopefully you’ll rest in peace now with your brothers by your side. Rest in peace old man.
