Passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loved ones on September 8, 2015 at the age of 89. Loving husband of Lois (nee Cheke). Loving father of Deborah (Brad) Gleason, Sue (John) Kender, and Scott (Sandi). Loving grandfather of Kyle (Kelsey), Todd, Nathan (Jenny), Jake, Brandon, and Ashley. Loving great-grandfather of Lillie, Macie, and Parker. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 10 AM – 12 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12 PM.

Howard was known for his great faith, loving disposition, and great smile. He leaves behind a legacy of great love for family and friends. He spent countless hours helping his family, friends, and church. Forever he will be loved and missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church – Caledonia.
