(nee Meunier)

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 30th, 2019 at the age of 92.  Loving wife of the late Robert. Dear mother of Roberta “Robin” (Jerome) Matuszak, Laura Grabowski, Richard (Bonnie), Jean Picco, Kathy (Mark) Brylski and Regina (Larry) Krawczyk. Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 8th, at St. Gregory the Great Parish (3160 S. 63rd St. Milwaukee) from 9:30-11am with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

She instilled a love of learning in all her children, and all of them graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  She taught us to read for enjoyment and to play outdoors, using our imaginations.   She never learned to drive, but walked with us to Holler Park where there was a swimming pool, and to the Bookmobile.  She grew up playing cards and taught us the games she knew.  Told us stories about growing up in a large family during the Great Depression.  Loved going to church, singing in the funeral choir, helping out with church festivals, and getting together with friends.  We will all miss her and her amazing grace, strength and good cheer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
