Born to eternal life on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, age 94 years. Loving wife of the late Wilmer Guenther. Dearest mother of James (Sarah) Guenther and Dale (Mary Jo) Guenther. Loving Grandma Ida of Katharine (Mike) Kemp, Jennette (Travis) Vesely, Jacob (Maria) Guenther and Jeffrey (Nissa) Guenther. “Great” grandmother of Zhana, Kalden, Levi, Page, Finley and Trace. Dear sister of the late Elsie (Max) Vollmann, Ruth (Jerry) Kaphingst and Dory (the late Ron) Yale. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation Monday, August 1, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home and visitation Tuesday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 4001 S. 68th St, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment St. John’s Cemetery.
Ida served as President of Wisconsin Lutheran High School Ladies Guild and St. John’s Ladies Aid for many years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church or Wisconsin Lutheran High School appreciated.
