Wolf, Ida J.
nee Tomassini Born Apr. 16, 1920. Went to join her beloved huband Albin on Apr. 9, 2003. She is survived by her children, Roberta Jim Owens, Paulette Jack Otto, and Keith Diane Wolf. She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren Paula Jerry Berg, Maria Tom Borneman, Allen Vickie Owens, John Anna Otto, Lori Larry Tiedke and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother PeterNellie Tomassini, nieces, nephews and cousins, too many to enumerate, and friends from all over the country.
Visitation Tues. Apr. 15 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 1023 E. Russell Ave., Milwaukee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM followed by Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Ida worked in war plants during WW II while Albin served in the Pacific Theater; waited and prayed for her son and son-in-law during the Vietnam Conflict and was currently awaiting good news of grandsons now serving in the Middle East. As an avid supporter of our men and women in uniform, she served many terms as Unit President and National Representative for the Amvets Auxilliary, and as a Training Officer and Encampment Co-ordinator for the USAF Auxilliary, Civil Air Patrol. She was “Ma Wolf” to several generations of C.A.P. cadets from all over Wisconsin.
Ida was, until illness interferred last year, actively involved in the Lupus Foundation of America-Wisconsin Chapter, serving as local president, state co-ordinator and national representative. Memorials may be made to: Lupus Foundation of America, 1109 N. Mayfair Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53226
