Hoernke, Irene M. (Nee Lukas)
Born April 14, 1928 died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 23, 2023. Proceeded in death by her parents Peter and Irene Lukas. Beloved wife of the late Donald. Dear mother of Wayne (Terry), Donna Peck and Dawn (Alan) Noack. She was the proud grandmother of 5, and great grandmother of 8. Sister of the late Dorothy Kurtz, the late Peter Lukas and the late Richard Lukas. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at CHRIST THE VICTOR LUTHERAN CHURCH (15700 W. Coffee Rd. in New Berlin.) from 11AM until the time of memorial service at 12:30PM. The family wishes to thank Ashley and Mike from Heartland Hospice for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the New Berlin Library or to Planned Parenthood appreciated.
