September 13, 2013. Born Isobel Webster in Musselburgh, Scotland on May 21st 1940. Isobel met the love of her life, Gerald “Rocky” Schwarzrock in Dunoon, Scotland in 1965 while Rocky was stationed there as a member of the US Navy. When Rocky was discharged from the Navy in 1966, the lived briefly in Charleston, SC before finally settling in Milwaukee.

Isobel “Jackie” worked at Frenchy’s restaurant on east North Avenue in Milwaukee. She and Rocky then went on to own “On The Rocks Bar and Restaurant” on South Howell Ave. in Milwaukee. She also worked at Grandma Emma’s in Bay View and at Potawatomi Bingo & Casino. Isobel and Rocky lived in Bay View for quite a few years and had many friends in the area.

Isobel loved spending time with her beloved Great Danes, Echo, Carmen, and Damian and Bassett Hound, PJ. She loved to travel throughout the Midwest attending dog shows. Echo was a registered Grand Champion Great Dane and Isobel was especially proud of that achievement.

Isobel also loved bowling, traveling, and anything Scottish. She was a kind person who cared about others and had a wonderful sense of humor. She had many friends from her days at Frenchy’s, On The Rocks, Grandma Emma’s, Potawatomi Casino, and the Southgate Square apartments.

Isobel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald “Rocky”; her mother, Ida (nee Spiers) Morris; her “Dad” Sandy Morris; and her father, Henry Webster. Isobel is survived and will be greatly missed by her son, David (Tassanee) Schwarzrock; granddaughters: Kanjana and Wanna; sisters: Sandra (the late Charlie) Robertson, Betty (John) Durie, and Ida (Des) Russell; and nieces and nephews: Pauline, Kirsty, Euan, Neil, and Valerie.

Family and friends will gather at the Funeral Home, 2486 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53207 on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 from 4:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.

A special thank you to Helen Fergusen, she was always there for Izzy during her struggles; Dr. Turgot Zia, Dr. Muhammed Nadeem, Dr. Rubina Qamar, and Dr. Bruce Campbell and their staffs for their wonderful care of Isobel during her long illness. She also wanted to thank everyone at Mercy Residential and Rehabilitation Center and the kind team at the Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the WI Humane Society, 4500 W. Wisconsin Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53208, appreciated.
