Cocherl, Jack Allen age 73, of Kansasville, WI, died on April 29, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family.

Jack is survived by his wife, Antoinette “Toni”, nee Adamczak, one son, Patrick Cocherl, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; three daughters, Sheri David Heldmann; of Sturgeon Bay, WI; Jill Thomas Schartner of Drummond, WI, and Carolyn Michael Morgen of Sheboygan Falls. Loving grandfather of Kiana, Josh, Jess, Zach and Luke. Brother of Bill Lillian Cocherl of Natchitoches, LA; and one sister Sue Jim Seas of Bonita Springs, Florida; Brother-in-law to Barb Tom Smith of Cadillac, MI and many nieces and nephews.

Jack was born on June 12, 1937 in Marion, Ohio, the son of the late John and Helen Cocherl. Jack graduated from Marion High School in 1955. On September 8, 1957, Jack married the former Antoinette “Toni” Adamczak in Marion, Ohio. They lived in Marion, and Columbus, Ohio; Sault Saint Marie, and Menomonee Michigan; Sturgeon Bay, and Kansasville, WI.

Jack worked in the meat business all of his working days. He began working with A & P Grocers as a meat cutter. He worked for over 30 years with Super Value, a large food wholesaler as a Meat Specialist, working with the stores that Super Value supplied. He later ran the Division Meat Department. In 1990, Super Value moved the office and new warehouse to Pleasant Prairie. Jack and Toni moved to the Racine area and established the meat department in the new facility. In 1993, he left Super Value. Then he worked full time/part for Food Marketing Service. Where he went back out to calling on some of the larger stores in the Chicago area, until finally retiring in 2004.

Jack enjoyed working in his shop making toys for the grandkids. He and Toni loved touring the Great Lakes and visiting old lighthouses and hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed fishing in Bayfield County with the family. He loved dogs, all dogs especially Abby! Jack was very grateful for the winters that he and Toni were able to spend on Jekyll Island, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held at NORTH CAPE LUTHERAN CHURCH on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, 5:00 PM , 2644 124th Street Highway 45 & West Five Mile Road, the Rev. Brad Brown officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 3:30 PM until the time of service 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to North Cape Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice appreciated.
