Entered into Eternal Life on Mon. Nov. 28, 2005 at age 89. He was born on Oct. 28, 1916 in Milwaukee, WI. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathleen on Jan. 29, 2005. Jacob and Kathleen were married on Nov. 29, 1952 at St. John?s Cathedral in Milwaukee. Also preceded in death by his sisters Helen Young, Elizabeth Lesch, Agnes Stasek, Margaret Stasek, Gertrude Stasek, and his brother Joseph Stasek.
Jacob was the loving father of Ellen Todd Utter and Sheila Jim Schulte. Beloved grandfather of Jamie Utter, Kevin Utter and special ?grand dog? Duster. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation Sat. Dec. 3rd from 10:00 ? 11:30 AM at ST. CHARLES BOROMEO CHURCH, S. 31st and W. Parnell Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM followed by interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Jacob grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Bay View High School in 1936. He then attended Marquette University and earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree in 1941. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II from 1941 until 1946. After the war, Jacob was employed by the United States Soil Conservation Service in both Milwaukee and Madison until he retired in 1972. Following retirement, Jacob worked part-time as a land surveyor until 1977.
He enjoyed playing cards and chess with family and friends, softball, volleyball and bowling. He and Kathleen were active in church social activities and volunteered often. Jacob loved celebrating birthdays and holidays, and watching football games, with his family. He traveled with Kathleen to Hawaii in 1976 and to Ireland in 1986. Jim and Sheila joined Jacob and Kathleen on Caribbean cruises and trips to Reno, Nevada.

We are going to miss you Dad, but now you have gone to be with our Mother, the love of your life.
