So sorry Carmen. We all lost a friend, and a great man !
Words cannot adequately describe my thanks to Jim and to you, Carmen, and your family for the opportunity to have met/interacted with Jim and to have had him be a steadfast volunteer member/leader of our App building team. His project management and computer engineering experience, as well as his team spirit and quest to resolve complex problems/issues with data-driven solutions, is a legacy he leaves behind for the rest of us to carry on! I will also long remember his patience, insights, smile as well as the twinkle in his eye! Your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers. I regret that I will not be able to attend his memorial service as I have a prior commitment to speak at the Midwest Neurofibromatosis conference that day. However I’ll be with you in spirit !

I am so very sorry for the loss of Jim. I had the privilege of working with him on the Steroid Taper App Team. He was so patient with all of us, a bunch of novices, in guiding us through the process. With his humble nature, he quietly and gently nudged us all in the right direction when we would start getting off track. Attached is a photo from the mobile app challenge event. It was an honor to work with Jim. He will be missed.
