Sunday, June 26th, 2016, age 81. Loving husband of the late Marlene (nee Janacek). Dear father of Mark (Laurie), Tracy (John) Haberkorn, Joel (Pamela), and Kelly (John) Stemper. Grandfather of Elizabeth, Lauren (Kevin) Niehoff, Joel, Ryan, Cody, Luke, Kyle, Nicholas, Madeline, Mallorie, Margaret, Samantha, Noah, and Jack. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dr. James was a long time physician and practiced for over 49 years in Hales Corners.

Private burial service was held at Emanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Memorials, if so desired, to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, in memory of his beloved wife Marlene.
