Age 65. Friday, July 1, 2005. Lapidist sphere maker, artist has gone ahead to make a place for his friends and family; Karen, his wife and best friend forever, his daughter, Christine Steve Chilcote, his son, Scott John, his granddaughters, Amanda Lang, Ashley and Aria, his brothers-in-law, Ernie Shirley Simon, Ken Kathy Simon, sisters-in-law, Mary Scott Ferris and Pat Terry Duerst, and of course, his many, many great friends and family. If you needed something made or fixed all you had to do was ask Jimmy. He spent his life looking for that one special rock.
