Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Stasaski). Father of Marilyn of Texas. Brother of Vernon of Texas, brother in law of Stella, Catherine (Jim), Martha and Rheta. Special friend of Donna his godmother, Jeanne, Kathy and Debby. Also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his sister Onette. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 27th at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CHURCH, S. 60th & W. Oklahoma Ave. from 9:30-10:45AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Interment in Iron River, MI at a later date. Jim was a member of Local 113 Laborer’s Union, he served in the United States Army from 1952-1954 and was with the Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington,VA. James was also known as “Jim”, “Geno”, “Tex”, “Gene” and “Jimmy.”
