Poblocki, James J. “Jim”
Born to Eternal Life on Thursday April 30th, 2015, age 85 years. Loving father of Sandi (Andy) Perreth, Bob (Pam) Poblocki, and Laurie (Mark) Foote. Dear grandfather of Joe (Jen), Julie, Nick (Katie), Melanie (Tim), Tyler, and Brad. Great-Grandfather of Chase, Zoey, Emmerson, and Eloise. Brother of Ray and Gerald (Eileen). Preceded in death by his siblings Ed, Barney, and Bill. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, from 4-7 PM, at the funeral home and Wednesday, from 9-10 AM at St. Stephen’s Church (1441 W. Oakwood Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday at 10AM, at the church. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Jim was the founder of Poblocki Travel Service which he started in 1967. He was a long time member of Tuckaway Country Club since 1947. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated. Special thanks to longtime agency manager Lynn Sawinski, the many employees of Poblocki Travel, and Jim’s caretaker Joanne Spicer.
