James “Jim” L. Rutowski

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 22 at the age of 70 years. Loving husband of Susan (Nee Augustine) for over 49 years. Best friends to his sons Mike (Becky) and DJ (Nancy). Proud grandfather of Travis (Carissa), Cpl. Trevor (Serena) Jessica, Megan and Abbie. Great-grandfather of Jason, Harper, Baby Boy due February 2019 and Baby due July 2019. Son of the late Norbert and Johanna Rutowski. Brother of Jean and Carol. Son-in-law of the late Willis and Leona Augustine. Jim is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, “Bonus” Sons, and Special Friends who all loved him dearly!

A memorial visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Homes (3801 S. Howell Ave. Milwaukee) on Friday, December 28, from 11am-2pm with a prayer service to take place at 2pm.

Above all else Jim loved Susie and the family they created together more than anything! He especially loved spending time with everyone hunting, drinking, playing bags, driving his tractor, and sitting around the campfire at his favorite place UP NORTH!!!
