Reunited with his wife Joan E. Babe on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Devoted dad of Cathy Jerry Roark, Julie Gaszak, Jerry Esther, Margaret Rick Menzel and Colleen Casey. Loving grandpa of Steve Jessica and Jim Roark, Bob and Angie Gaszak, Sam and Sarah Hiller. Great-grandpa CC of Jayden and Mylo. Dear brother-in-law of J.B. and Ray Paar. Also survived by a niece, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation Thursday, October 13 from 4 – 6 pm at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CHURCH, S. 60th St. & W. Oklahoma Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 6:00 pm. Private entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Casey proudly served in the Marine Corps with the 1st Marine Division, 1st Reconnaissance Company during the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart on January 15, 1953. He retired from Grede Foundries in 1994 to pursue his love of golf, woodworking and world travel.
