Passed away Saturday October 22, 2016 at the age of 86yrs. Loving husband of Roberta “Bobbie” (Nee Schilling). Dear father of Thomas James Nellen, Therese Marie Benkowski (Jeff) Graf and Diane Marie (Randy) Riddell. Beloved Papa of Reed Graf and Corey Riddell. Brother of Richard E. Nellen, Brother-in-Law of Thomas (Joan) Schilling and Kathleen (The late Eugene) Schilling. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
A Memorial visitation will be held Fri. Oct. 28, 2016 from 9AM-1045AM at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY (9520 W. Forest Home Ave.) followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Inurnment to follow at church cemetery.
Dr. Nellen was a member of the U.S. Air Force in Japan. Then was Professor Emeritus of Radiology at Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Nellen was a founding member of Neuroradiology at St. Lukes Hospital until his retirement in 1989. In lieu of flowers The family would appreciate memorials to St. Mary Catholic Faith Community debt reduction fund.
