Guerten, James R. Sr.
Entered eternal life August 13, 2009, age 73, after a short battle with lung cancer. Loving husband of Wilma Nee Erdman, for 53 years. Devoted Dad to Michael Karen, James Jr. Sharon, Kari Gary Dohmeyer and Patricia Wayne Woodward. Proud grandpa of 6 grandchildren: Nicholas, Erika, Shelbi, Evan and Olivia Guerten and Halle Dohmeyer. Step grandpa to Angie, Derek, Stacy and Ryan Woodward.
Visitation Monday, 9:30 AM – 11 AM at ST. JAMES CHURCH, 7219 S. 27th St., with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.

James was a graduate of Marquette University and a design engineer for Siemens for 39 years. Retired to Franklin, WI in 2000. He enjoyed car races, cars and deer hunting. Jim and Wilma enjoyed fishing in Vermillion Bay, cruising to Alaska, the Baltic and Italy. He was a quiet, private gentle man and will be dearly missed. Memorials to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation Appreciated.
