Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Kruger). Loving father of Jeri (John) Gamache, Timothy (Sondra) Mayworm and Patricia “Trish” (Edward) Smith. Proud grandpa of Jamie (Michael) Wendling; and David, Zachary and Rebecca Smith. Great-grandpa of Jackson and Peyton. Brother of Marilyn Armstrong and brother-in-law of Jon (Judy) Kruger. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Private service with Military Honors at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.

James served in the US Army and was retired from Rojahn & Malaney Wholesale Florists after 43 years of employment.
