Dearly beloved husband of Lisa nee Lucaccioni Loving father Jim Jenny, Kristen Mike Pfeifer, John Lindsay, and Katie Josh Pluer. Papa of Emma, Sarah and Joey. Brother of Ann Don Bergstrom and Trish Marco Muscarello and late Irene Carr. Son-in-law of Carmela Rusconi. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, many colleagues and friends. Visitation Fri. Nov. 9th, 4-8pm at the church. Funeral Mass Sat. Nov. 10th, 8:30am at ST. MARY’S CHURCH, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave. Jim was the recent recipient of the Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the naming of the James R. Ryan Municipal Building in Hales Corners. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Penfield Children’s Center, Xavierian Missionary Fathers, St. Mary’s Endowment Fund or S.E. Wisc. Youth & Family Services appreciated. Jim has transformed numerous organizations and founded others through a vision of possibilities rather than problems. A leader in human services government and civic endeavors, Jim currently served either as president or chair for Penfield Children’s Center, Village of Hales Corners, Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens, or Wisconsin Initiative for Infant Mental Health, Executive Director of Milwaukee County Regional Medical and founded Flight for Life. Jim led by example. He was recognized by colleagues as a leader that respects their concerns and able to lead the consensus building process. He served on various boards including BID Board for Avenues West, Planning Council for Health and Human Services, Intergovernmental Cooperation Council, Executive Council for MMSD, Southeastern Youth and Family Services, Library Trustee for three libraries, Public Policy Forum, Shared Services Council, Humane Society, American Red Cross, State Advisory Committee on Child Welfare, Government Innovation Trade Fair, Commission for 21st Century, Downtown Rotary, St. Mary’s in Hales Corners and an Evans scholar.
