James R Stockheimer

Born to Eternal Life on October 24th, 2017 at the age of 68 years. Loving husband of Joyce Vanderboom-Stockheimer and the late Vivian Stockheimer (nee Schliewe). Loving father of James Jr., Chris (Eleanor) Stockheimer, Amy (Andy) Edgerly, Tracy (Tony) Burdette and Bryan Hawkins. Grandfather of Deanna Stockheimer, Alyssa Stockheimer, Emily Edgerly, Amanda Edgerly, Monica Burdette, Marisol Burdette, Migdalia Burdette, Julia Stockheimer and Joshua Stockheimer. Great-Grandfather of Gavin Stockheimer. Son of the late Robert Stockheimer and Hilda (the late Lee) Friedl. Brother of Donald (the late Ellie) Rosanne (Sam) Mozo, the late Beverly, Delores (Dan) Zellmer, Mary (Sacramento) Velazquez, Cheryl (Steve) Selk, Lee (Sarah) Friedl Jr. Also survived by many other nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will take place Sunday, October 29th at the FUNERAL HOME from 12PM until 3PM with a prayer service to take place at 3pm. Another visitation will take place on Monday, October 30th ST. PETER EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH (1205 S 8th St, Milwaukee) from 9AM until time of service at 9:30AM. Interment to follow at Wood National Cemetery at 11AM.

James proudly served his country as part of the 1st Cavalry during the Vietnam War. James was a Cub Scout Pack Leader for several years. He also loved to go on his Tuesday date day for bingo and buffet.
