A special thank you to Jane’s book club members and friends that kept her reading, Wisconsin Athletic Club Water Aerobics group that kept her agile and the Clement Manor Center for Enrichment A Lifelong Learning Program that fed her many scholarly interests.
The family would like to express a special appreciation to the Froedtert Hospital Surgical ICU (S-ICU) team, the 7th floor Center for Advanced Care (CFAC) nursing staff and the Horizon Hospice team for their kind assistance on her journey to her next phase of life.
I’m so sorry to hear about her passing. I remember the first time I met her and the first thing she said was “Here have something to eat” Always trying to feed me. She was such a sweet soul.
Met Jane early in my married life as my mother-in-law’s friend and neighbor- oh the fun times Jane, Dorothy and Betty had! Was privileged to be reunited with Jane when Mike and I moved back to the area 4 years ago. I was invited to join a book group with former Hales Corner’s friends and there was Jane. She loved to read and shared so many wonderful books with our group. Sharp until the end and never lost her love of learning. RIP lovely lady- I know Betty is happy to see you again!
My husband Jerry and I send our sympathies, love, and compassionate energy to all of Jane’s family. I was so fortunate know Jane in earlier years. Her energy and love for seeking knowledge was unstoppable! Her spirit was so incredible and that kind, curious, generous spirit will live on in those of you that she inspired. I was very saddened to hear of her passing, especially for my dear friend Jan. Please know that my heart is with you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers! I realize this loss is huge. Love you lots! Terry and Jerry
My husband taught with Charlie, Jane’s husband, and they were great friends. We had many good times with them including Badger
football games and holiday parties. Jane’s daughters were our babysitters. Jane was a kind and lovely person, and we are very
glad to have had so many times with her. We send our condolences to Carrie, Jan and Jo.
