- A Memorial Service will be held at North Cape Lutheran Church 2644 Raynor Avenue (corner of 5 mile and Hwy 45) at 11:30 am on Saturday, November 16th with pastor Robb Kosky officiating. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am.
Janet Jean Jasperson
Town of Norway, age 67 died peacefully at home on September 17th, 2024. She was born on November 6th, 1956 in Racine, WI to Lois and Lyle Jasperson.
Janet was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She graduated from Waterford High School and then Mount Mary College with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked as an OT for over 30 years until she retired from St. Luke’s Hospital in Racine. She was active in church and attended North Cape Lutheran Church her whole life where she taught Sunday school and sang regularly. She was also active in the Big Sister program for many years. She loved attending her family’s many activities and sporting events. Many people were touched by her positive attitude and smile.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Lois (nee Ruff) Jasperson. She is survived by her brother Alan (Paula) and by her three nephews, one niece and 4 great nephews. Benjamin (Laura) of Santa Monica, CA and their children Lucas and Nolan. Jacob (Kelsey) of Franklin, WI. Adam (Nicole) of Indianapolis, IN and their children Elijah and Theodore. Rebekah (Jacob) Reitz of Waukesha, WI. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and her little sister Paula Woodward.
A memorial service will be held at North Cape Lutheran Church 2644 Raynor Avenue (corner of 5 mile and Hwy 45) at 11:30 am on Saturday, November 16th with pastor Robb Kosky officiating. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to NCLC appreciated. Lunch will be served following the service.
The family would like to thank Janet’s caregiver Alta as well as Horizon Home Care for 9 years of loving and excellent care. We can never thank you enough.
