• A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at OAK CREEK COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 8675 S. 13th St. Oak Creek, WI 53154. Followed by a service at 1:00pm. Entombment will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.

Of Oak Creek.  Passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, age 91 years.  Dear mother of David, Gail (James II) Fackler, and Mark.  Grandmother of Stephanie, James III, Laura, and Eric.  Great-grandmother of Joshua, Samuel, and Brayden.  Sister-in-law of Mary, Esther, Alice, Kenneth, Howard, and the late George. Aunt of Judith Lynne McMillen, Jennifer, Jean Pacyga, and Janet Kay Hartmann.  Further survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur LeRoy Jennings, her parents Robert Anton Martin Rietzow and Alvina Emelia Augusta (nee Hannemann) Rietzow, sister Irene Selma Elsie (Myron Luverne) Thoms, brother Edward H. Rietzow, and a nephew Thomas James Thoms.

Jean was a caring, faithful Christian who served the community through her profession as a nurse and through her involvement at Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed music and shared her talent for many years singing in the church choir.  She had a green thumb and was known for the flowers she grew – especially her roses.

Jean had a huge heart – always thinking of others and putting their needs before her own.  She will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
