Jeanette May Ackland

September 10, 2024, age 95 years. Preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. William Ackland and sons John and William. Survivors include her son, Clay Ackland; grandchildren Jennifer, Joanne, Jeanette, Joshua, Daniel, and Faith, as well as great-grandchildren. Jeanette is further survived by dear friends at EastCastle Place, especially Elinor Gorton and Anne and Jeff Arndt, Peter Shea, as well as friends she made over the years at the many churches where her husband was called to serve.

Jeanette was a devoted member of East Side Baptist Church for many years, where her late husband served as Pastor for a time. She shared her musical gift at the Church by serving at their pianist for many years. She was a long-time resident of EastCastle Place, having moved in when it was the Milwaukee Protestant Home. She was an extraordinarily talented seamstress, and she found that she also had a talent for painting later in life.

Visitation on Monday, September 30, 2024 in the Bradford Terrace Lounge at EastCastle Place, 2505 E. Bradford Ave. from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11:30 AM.
