Smith, Jerome Francis “Jerry”
Passed away Sunday morning August 26, 2012 at the age of 83. Born April 8th, 1929 in St. Paul, MN to Frank and Grace Smith. Jerry met the love of his life Kitty Catherine Clark, who preceded him in death. They shared a rich and everlasting love for 60 years. Together they raised their family of 10 children Mary Abe Payrow-Olia, Corinne Michael Multhauf, Yvonne James Knitter, Lawrence MarryTess Smith, Naomi Michael Knitter, Christopher Susan Smith, Daniel Carmen Smith, Felecia Dark, Michele Kenneth LaBucki, and Victoria Eric Zilisch.
Working and traveling throughout the United States, they met many wonderful people and formed lasting friendships. Jerry’s love and kindness carried on through his children to produce 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and counting.
Our family is blessed because of you dad. Your love, selflessness and laughter will continue through us and our families, as we honor our memories of you, raising our children.
Jerry’s family invites you to celebrate his life and join them for a visitation on Saturday, September 1st from 9 AM -11 AM, at the funeral home, with a funeral Service to follow at 11 AM. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery
