Months before he past he told me “Not many people will miss me once I’m gone.” I thank God that he was wrong.
The day before he passed he was playing with my son Aiden Harders. He was the most gentle, most kindest, generous, and intelligent man. The best husband, grandfather, great grandfather. His smile was warm and his embrace even warmer. When you went…you took that warmth away. I will miss you dearly. Love you grandpa. The best grandfather I could ask for.
Mr Hardee’s was my art teacher for the four ears at Wisconsin Lutheran High School. He was instrumental in creating a fourth year of art for me.
He has left lasting memories of a fin Pastor and Art Teacher. He is missed I assure you.
I’m 66 years old now having graduated from WLHS in 1973
All these many years his genitalia guidance has motivated me in my retirement from Nursing to once again dabble in the fine arts.
Every time I pick up a pencil, pastel, or paint brush I think of Mr Hardee’s.
I see him feasting at the Lords table with family, friends and students who may have proceeded him. I hope he will recognize me when I pass into our eternal home.
I will always be thankful for his t lessons.
I never proof read! Plus my phone thinks it can spell better than I and/or the word I wanted t use was changed – in this case embarrassingly so. Their isn’t an EDIT on this site so it s what it is! I hope he is laughing in heaven! Linda
