Passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, age 82 years. Cherished wife of James for 63 years. Mother of Daniel(Cathy) Himsel, Cindy(Tom) Chamberlain, and Nancy(Michael) Kennedy. Grandma of Andrew, Jonathan, Tim(Tara), Mike(Erin), Matt, Jenny(Mark), Lauren, Lindsay, and Nicholas. Great Grandma of Isabelle, Caleb, Lydia, and Linnea. Sister of Chuck Johnson, Jack Johnson, and Sharon Burden. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Palmer and Kathryn Johnson and brother Gary Johnson.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 3, at Grace Church, 3626 HWY 31 Racine, from 9-10AM. A Memorial Service will follow at 10AM.

Joan was an employee of the American Bowling Congress for 26 years and an active member at Grace Church – Racine.
