Joanne Sophie Klockow

Joanne Sophie Klockow (nee Serflek) Friday, April 26, 2013, age 93. Born on November 29, 1919 in Cudahy, Wisconsin, the daughter of Conrad and Julia (Korbel) Serflek. Joanne was baptized December 28, 1919 at St. John, Cudahy with Sponsors Sophie Korbel and Paul Chovanec. She was Confirmed on August 28, 1932 at St. John, Cudahy. Joanne was married June 26, 1943 to William Klockow at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Inglewood, California by Rev. Eugene Smith. William preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son Lee Richard Klockow (Patti), and daughters Linda Suzanne Miller (Peter), and Susan Joanne Sierszyn (Jay). Further survived by 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, brother-in-law John Mostenan, sister-in-law Dora Serfelt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4850 S. Lake Drive, Cudahy, Wisconsin from 9AM to 10:30AM. Service to follow at 10:30. Interment to follow immediately at Forest Hill Memorial Park, Oak Creek.

“The Lord gave me many opportunities to serve Him on various boards and Church organizations, and the joy of teaching children about God’s great love through leading Sunday School, Thursday Classes, and Vacation Bible School. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!” Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
